2.5 Designer
Educators design authentic, learner-driven activities and environments that recognize and accommodate learner variability. Educators:
Use technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.
Educators design authentic learning activities that incorporate technology to advance student outcomes and develop opportunities for students to apply their knowledge.
Apply evidence-based instructional design principles to create innovative and equitable digital learning environments that support learning.
You can also use things like Google Classroom to make a friendly and functional class space online for students to access when there is a snow day, they are sick, or any other reason they might miss class. It can be interactive and also have the class work information easily accessible so even if students were in class, they can review anything they may not remember.
Creating something like an online whiteboard can help you design posters that spread good information while also being fun and eye catching. For example, to the left is an assignment I had where I had to use the Triple E Framework to judge whether some programs were up to my standards and the standards of Triple E. Something like this can also be transformed to make it a guide to find reliable resources for things like papers.
